Individual psychotherapy is offered through 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions on a biweekly or weekly basis. I am happy to discuss and explore what duration and frequency individuals need for their therapy sessions based on their needs, goals, and financial considerations. Please reference my current session fees below for more information on the cost of sessions.
Starting in September 2024, there will be two groups offered at Through the Pavement.
Regulation Skills Group
The regulation skills group will focus on strengthening participants’ identification and awareness of their activation patterns, attending to their patterns with various strategies, and shaping autonomic responses towards safety and connection. This group is open to anyone looking to improve their self-awareness and regulation skills and is a great addition to those engaged in individual trauma reprocessing therapies. The content of this group will primarily be focused on Polyvagal Theory, but will also include tenets of Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills.
Location: TBD, Check back closer to September to see if the group is virtual or in-person!
Cost per Session: $30.00

Young Adult Bereavement Group
The young adult bereavement group will focus on supporting participants in their grieving processes. Sessions will explore various ways to honor and attend to participants’ grief, including sharing memories or stories, engaging in grief rituals, and normalizing how challenging grief is to hold. The group also hopes to foster feelings of connection and understanding in the midst of what can be an incredibly isolating experience. This group is open to any young adult (18-26) who is experiencing grief.

Under the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, you have a right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Health care providers, including therapists, are required to give patients who have no insurance or patients who are not planning on utilizing their insurance to pay for services this estimate.
The “Good Faith Estimate” will detail the total expected costs of any non-emergency items or services for a defined treatment period. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. In outpatient therapy, this includes diagnostic assessments or evaluations, types of therapy (individual, group), and length of session time.
Providers are required to give you a “Good Faith Estimate” in writing at least 3 business days before your scheduled medical service or item. You may also ask providers for an estimate before you schedule a medical service or item.
If you receive a bill that is a least $400.00 more than the cost listed on the “Good Faith Estimate,” you may contact the provider listed to ask to update the bill to match the Estimate, negotiate the bill, or inquire about the availability of financial assistance (including establishing a payment plan).
You may also dispute the bill by initiating a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must file a dispute within 120 calendar days of the date on the original bill. There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) agrees with you, you will have to pay the price listed on your Estimate. If HHS disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.
You will need a copy of any Estimate to initiate a dispute resolution process, so make sure you save a copy or a picture of any Good Faith Estimates you receive from providers.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
